Bible Study with David and Josh

The long awaited part two of the first book of the new, second, testament — but not the first testament we did for the podcast — is here! David visited Josh and he had a great time in Vermont. They also recorded an episode of the pod. And they promise to go back to doing it on a somewhat (monthly, probably) basis. 

Put on your best Sunday clothes, gather 'round the pews, and open up your Bibles. It's time for the return of Bible Study with David and Josh. The Good Time Bible Boys have a very detailed account of *checks notes* only the first three or so chapters of the Book of Matthew. You can blame that on a text David sent Josh a few hours before recording. "I don't want to half-ass this." And half-ass this they didn't.
Josh hasn't checked the the twitter account. Or the X — the everything app — account. Please do not follow it.

Have you heard the good news? The Good Time Bible Boys are back and better than ever! Josh visited David recently and, unsurprisingly, David dragged Josh to church at 7:30 in the morning. Woof. Listen to the new special ep about Josh's experience at church. And stay tuned. David and Josh will be back on a more regular schedule.

It's come to David and Josh's attention that they have "better" "things" "to do" with their time. At least over the summer, that is. That's right, folks. The Good Time Bible Boys have reached the end of their first "season" of sorts, and boy do they have a DOOZY of an episode for you: a chapter from one of Josh's former heroes, Christopher Hitchens. And yeah, you don't need to say it. It's worse than he remembers.
David and Josh will be back after the summer. Maybe Thanksgiving? Possibly Christmas? Who knows? But they thank you kindly, dear listener(s) for sticking around. It's not goodbye. It's "see you later." Amen.

The Good Time Bible Boys finally did it! They got through the shortest Gospel of the New Testament and it only took three episodes. But don't worry, they'll pick up the pace from here on out. Also discussed: Meant to Live by Switchfoot being included in traditional church services.

Two parts, huh? How many parts can have the gospels have? A lot happens, so the Good Time Bible Boys aren't sure how many parts each gospel will have. But here it is, the second part of The Gospel of Mark, cut short because Josh was tired. The Boys will be back next week with a third and final part (they promise.) The Good Time Bible Boys have good news. Great news, even. They finally did it. They finally reached that other pesky half of the Bible: the New (and improved) Testament. Yes, believers and nonbelievers. It's happened. David and Josh are diving head first (or feet first, since Jesus didn't breakdance on water) into the Gospel (not Book) of Mark. Yes, yes. You know that's not the first book of the New Testament. David doesn't care. You need to trust his vision for the podcast.
