Bible Study with David and Josh

David had a little "oopsie" - a technical term - with his audio file, so, dear listener, you'll be getting his compressed-to-heck Discord audio stream. David apologizes for the inconvenience; however, David and Josh are here with another episode of Bible Study. This time they're tackling Ezra (a prophet, ooh, ooh) and Haggai, a contemporary to Ezra, as David put it. Thanks for listening.

Good news: you're gonna get a bump in title and position, which comes with a lot more responsibility and duties. Bad news: again, no money. Let's circle around back next quarter. Have you met Susana? She's great." 

Song of Songs. Song of Solomon. Solomon of Songs. Songs of S....whatever you call it, it's a doozy! But David and Josh have fun with this one. The less said in the description, the better.

Well folks, here's the second part of David and Josh's commentary track on the Da Vinci Code. Spoiler: it doesn't get any better! But who cares? At least the music was good. And David is right, we owe Tom Hanks and Nicolas Cage a collective apology for how we treated their hairlines.

Folks. It's been a year. A whole year. Can you believe that? Technically, by the time of this episode going live, it will have been a year and a week or two, but who's keeping count? The Good Time Bible Boys, that's who. In celebrating making their podcast last one year, David and Josh watched The Da Vinci Code, a very pro-Christian, pro-Catholic Church, pro-da Vinci movie starring Tom Hanks and a normal hairline. (Seriously, Tom Hanks' hair is the best thing about this movie.) The boys have immensely enjoyed making this podcast and hope to continue to do it for at least another year. But for now, enjoy some live commentary as David and Josh watch, The Da Vinci Code.

Well, well, well, if it isn't the Bible Boys. Josh is back from vacation. Go listen to the Joshua special. But this week, David and Josh tackle one the longest books they've read so far: Psalms. Or Psalm, depending on which translation you use. There are quite a few audio drops in this one. Josh had fun editing it. Joshua went on vacation to Joshua Tree National Park. He decided it was a good idea to do a solo episode reading from the Book of Joshua. Also featured: Josh Groban, a song from The Joshua Tree by U2, Joshua Radin, and Joshua by Dolly Parton.

The lead singer of The Offspring famously asked, "Na-na, why don't you get a Job?" and the Good Time Bible boys did just that with their reading of the Book of Job. David really enjoys Job. Josh doesn't. Big surprise, there. Also in this episode, a Biblical reading of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' "The Impression that I Get."
