Josh was away on a family vacation last weekend so instead of putting in the work of recording two episodes in one week, your Good Time Bible Boys decided to put out yet another deep cuts. In this ep: Josh's sister calls into the pod; David and Josh talk about time machines, Captain America, and steroids (of which Josh is a fan); sports; and, finally, Josh's upcoming trip to Joshua Tree National Park.

Six. Six chapters. That's it. It's amazing that David and Josh were able to pull an episode together with just six chapters between the Books of Habakkuk and Zephaniah. Three each. But they did. They also discussed UFOs and aliens. Josh doesn't believe in them, but it would be supremely funny if they came to earth and said had a religion of their own.

A whopping 10 chapters make up the books of Micah and Nahum, but you know the Good Time Bible Boys extract every bit of content from them. David and Josh also consider their first piece of criticism: the episodes are too g-dang long. Thanks for the concern, Nicole. This episode is under an hour.

Another week, another Double Feature™®©? From the good time Bible Boys? That's right. This week, we're covering Joel and Amos, two more minor prophets. Also discussed: Oppenheimer, 3-hour long movies, a thought experiment for David, and more!
Follow us on X...wow that sounds stupid. Thanks, Elon.

The Good Time Bible boys are back with bad blood, at least that's how David describes the beginning of the Book of Hosea. And Obadiah has a lot of "subtle" metaphors. That's right, folks. It's another double feature of some minor prophets. This time, it's the books of Hosea and Obadiah. Also worth noting: we've produced more episodes (and arguably surpassed the quality) of Harry and Megan's podcast. Spotify should pay us $25 million dollars, honestly.

The Good Time Bible Boys are back and better than ever. We're sorry we missed last week, but Josh had some personal issues to tend to. It's personal! Don't worry about it. But this is a good episode on the Book of Ezekiel, the last of the major prophets, and he's sad about turning 30 and getting a bunch of responsibilities, much like and David and Josh in the coming months. Thankfully we don't have to cut our hair or eat some weird bread.

David had some low energy for some of the episode, but he turns it around for a very good reason. After reading through the doom and gloom of Lamentations, the Good Time Bible Boys read through Jonah. You know it, you love it. They also watch Jonah, the Veggie Tales one. You also know it. You also love it. Josh was pleasantly surprised at how good of a movie it was. Also: Josh forgot his microphone when he traveled last weekend, so please forgive the change in audio quality. He did his best when editing. Follow us on Twitter.

Whoa, an episode this early in the week? That's right, folks. The Good Time Bible Boys were so excited about their latest episode that Josh spent Monday evening editing it so it could get to your sweet ears days before it's usually published. You can thank us later. Anyway: David and Josh roll through the Book of Jeremiah, the weepiest of the prophets. Josh also gives David a few great ideas about future content. Tune in next week for a special discussion about the one and only Veggie Tales.

David needed a few more days to prepare for the episode on Jeremiah. In lieu of some cut content, Josh had a pressing question to ask David about Pat Roberts (not Robert Pattinson), heaven, and where souls are before we're all born. Also included: Wisconsin Dells, Jack Thomas, Unknown Unknowns, and Josh's water drinking habits.

Too Isaiah To Furious. The Dark Isaiah. Isaiah 2: Judgement Day. Isaiah Returns. He didn't really go anywhere, but it's the sequel to Isaiah part one. We wrap up our first introduction to the prophets. Josh learns some things that question his faith (not ironically!) and David is impressed with one of Josh's interpretations of a passage. Also, there are a lot of phrases used in everyday English that come from the Bible. Wow!
